I have been a nurse for many years working in the hospital,the community, in research and education. For the First Aide Merit Badge Class, I will oversee the work of nursing students who will teach the First Aide classes. The nursing students participating are senior level baccalaureate degree nurses who are taking their community health course work at Kennesaw State University and spend 138 hours working in the community. We welcome Scout Adult Leaders to attend the class.



Scouts are asked to bring their first aide kits to the class.

 2. Download the worksheet, save it and print to document your merit badge work.



3. Bring your own First Aid kit to the class.



Prerequisites



1) For requirement 2b, each scout must bring to class the first aid kit they have prepared for their home.

2) For requirements 2-6, each scout must fill out the answers to the questions asked on the merit badge worksheet. These worksheets will be collected at the beginning of the class.
